Where is the event being held?

The event is taking place on Tuesday, June 13th, 2017 at the Hellenic Meeting & Reception Centre, located at 1315 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario.

What is the event schedule?

  • 5:30 pm Cocktail Reception
  • 7:00 pm Dinner
  • 9:15 pm Elimination Round
  • 9:30 pm After Party
  • 11:30 pm End of Evening

Will we receive our tickets prior to the event?

Yes. All tickets will be mailed to you or your company prior to the dinner. All payments, guest names, and any special meal requests must be submitted before ticket delivery. Please provide all information to Nafsika via email: goldplate@helleniccommunity.com

What happens if we forget our tickets?

It is important to bring your event tickets with you to the dinner. Unfortunately, without your ticket you will not be able to claim a subsidiary prize, or participate in the elimination round if your ticket is amongst the final 20 drawn.

Who do we consult for event questions?

Please consult Nafsika Vitaliotis, who will be located inside the tent along with our Volunteer Welcome team.

What is the required eveningwear?

Business wear is recommended for all guests attending.

Will there be complimentary Valet parking and Responsible Choice service?

Yes. Complimentary Valet parking and Responsible Choice services will be provided on site, compliments of our sponsor Coles Funeral Services.

Do we need to show our Gold Plate ticket to the valet staff?

No. You will only need to give your name and vehicle keys to the valet staff, in exchange for a valet ticket.

Will there be parking spaces for those who do not wish to use Valet services?

Yes. Limited parking spaces will be available on the property, and on neighboring side streets. Parking attendants are on site to assist our guests in finding available parking spaces.

Can we purchase tickets at the door?

No. All ticket requests must be made in advance of the event.

Who are the event beneficiaries?

Our annual beneficiaries are the Acute Care for the Elderly Unit at the Queeensway Carleton Hospital, and the Hellenic Community of Ottawa's cultural and religious programs.

Will there be a live auction?

Yes, following dinner at approx. 8:40pm.

Will there be assigned seating?

Yes. There is a pre-planned seating arrangement. You will find your table number displayed on your individual event tickets. Additionally, there will be volunteers guiding you to your table upon entering the dining room.

Will our company's logo be displayed on the tables?

Yes. All event sponsors and corporate tables will have company's signage displayed on their tables.

Where are the restrooms?

Restrooms are located inside the banquet hall.
